    There is so much to see and do in York, I am sure it would be a wonderful experience. I would love best to take a leisurely walk on the cobbled streets and enjoy the charm and elegance of the place.

    This is perfect timing, since I just sent out a bunch of requests for York. Hopefully I’ll be going there soon!

    I have fond memories of visiting the Viking Center as a child. It’s too bad it’s closed at the moment.

    I love the concept of your quick guide. The Hubs has just agreed to six weeks in Europe in their summer 2018. Would love to do 2017 but I have to build up some leave! If I make it to York the ghost tours will be on my list and Ai love that everything is in walking distance.

    I love York- it’s such a beautiful and historic place. I’ve not been since I was very little! The ghost walks sound like they’d be really spooky yet fascinating and packed with information!

  12. York is a lovely place to visit! My favourite activity is the Jorvik Viking Centre. Such a fascinating tour to learn about all the history! Would love to go back at some point.

    I loved York when I was there. I enjoyed going into the cathedral and walking through the Shambles. Such an enormous amount of history there. I will be sure to visit the chocolate factory next time. That sounds very appealing.
