Traders Lounge Buffet

We highly recommend adding the Traders Club privileges when you're booking your stay.  The additional charge is about £30 per night for 2 people and is well worth it!  Also with the Traders Club you are entitled to breakfast at Afya or the Club Lounge located on the 9th floor.  Take it from us, you will not go away hungry!  Additionally you can visit the Traders Lounge throughout the day for tea, coffee, soft drinks and there is usually some cookies or cakes as well.  Jimmy and I usually stop in after we come in from the beach for a quick snack before evening cocktails and canapes are served!

in the lounge

From 6pm to 8pm the lounge offers unlimited wine, beer, spirits, tea's, coffee and a full array of food.  You'll find everything from salad, canapes, soup, warm main course snack and plenty of chocolates, cakes and cheese!    Club privileges also have services for 1 complimentary suit pressing and shoe shine, fresh fruit in your room, daily paper upon request and complimentary use of private business offices for up to 2 hours.  You just can't go wrong with the Traders Club!  Additionally, there is also a club buggy (golf cart) That will take you to any of there nearby hotel bars.

Additional Information

Tourism:  Big Bus Tours are an excellent choice to see various places in Abu Dhabi, you can get on an off the bus in different places as well as don't forget to take some time to tour The Grand Mosque!  It's exquisite and can be seen across the canal from Traders Hotel!

Transportation:  Taxis are your main transportation and very inexpensive.  The airport is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away and will cost you about 50 dirhams which is roughly £11.

Flights:  Some of the best pricing found to Abu Dhabi in our experience has been through EBookers or Expedia.   If you happen to live in the UK or are flying out from Manchester Etihad offers a direct flight to Abu Dhabi, which is about a 7 and half hour flight.  Flight reviews for Etihad from Abu Dhabi to Washington also reveal direct flights.  Another nice perk is that Abu Dhabi has customs pre-check which saves you time when you land after a long flight!

Happy Travels to you and we hope you will consider Traders Hotel your next choice!  Don't forget to include the Traders Club in booking!

Disclosure:  We did not receive monetary benefits or gifts from Traders Hotel, Etihad, EBookers or Expedia when writing this article.  This article was written from our experience of our many stays with Traders Hotel as we love it and hope you will too!  The amenities and club privileges are subject to change.  Please review their website before booking.

Traders Hotel looks like one of the best options to stay while in Abu Dhabi. I have visited the city a couple of times but then they were just day trips from Dubai. Would love to stay and experience this vibrant city someday. Will certainly look up for Traders Hotel then. The beach side restaurant looks amazing, perfect for romantic dinners or just a much need ‘me’ time :). With the amenities and services you described, I cannot imagine anything going wrong for the guests.

A personal note from the staff? How sweet! Sometimes it’s not the look of the place itself that lingers in the mind, it’s the warmth of its personnel. There are many times that I didn’t find the stay satisfying (oftentimes caused by some problems with room and amenities) but I’d still put out a good word just because I’d been treated well by the staff. But with Traders Hotel, seems like they have everything, nice and clean rooms, good amenities, and of course courteous staff. It’s easy to see why you guys enjoyed your stay there.

Hello Studipto, I’ve tried quite a bit of Middle Eastern Food and It’s quite good. I could not really tell you what anything was called as we always had our meals in the traders lounge buffet with is included when you pay and extra £35 a day. This is a good deal since you get full breakfast with large selection as well as dinner and cocktails. I’d say if you had to pay that outside of Traders Lounge addition it would cost you over £300 a day. The food and beverages are quite expensive.

So cool to see that they have a lounge. I usually stay at one of the Hyatt hotels or Hilton hotels because I have elite status and can get free breakfast and lounge access. I was just there in November and bummed to learn that Uber is no longer in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I used them during all my previous visits – made things so much easier.
